An international holiday is something that Indians enjoy thoroughly, and things get even better when the destination of choice has visa on arrival for Indians. Why? Because getting visa is one of the most stressful parts of vacation planning. Waiting for hours in embassies and answering all those annoying questions can really become a big-time mood off. To make travelling abroad a cakewalk for travellers, there are a number of countries these days offering visa on arrival facility to those bitten by the wanderlust bug. You'll be surprised to know that there are more than 50 countries where you can just land up and get a visa stamped on arrival. Recently Zimbabwe was also added to the list along with a few more countries.

ASIA

Asia is no less than a wonderland and for Indians, it is a dream destination. Another point to be noted is Asian countries are easily accessible and comparatively ‘in-budget’. From the shopping paradise of Thailand to the little-known-wonder Laos, visa on arrival is offered in Cambodia, Indonesia, Jordan, Nepal, Maldives, Macau, and Timor Leste.

AFRICA

Africa’s natural history alone would make a dozen visits here worthwhile! Fall asleep to the sounds of birds and be a part of the spectacular scenery that Ethiopia and Madagascar has to offer. The other African countries that offer visa on arrival are Kenya, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau, Mauritius, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, Cape Verde, Comoros, and Togo. Visitors are also required to hold proof of sufficient funds to cover their stay and documents required for their next destination. In Seychelles, visitors can obtain a "Visitor's Permit" on arrival for a maximum period of 3 months, if holding a return ticket (if not, then a return ticket must be purchased on arrival); sufficient funds (minimum of USD 150 or equivalent per day); and proof of accommodation during stay.

NORTH AMERICA

Music, beaches and towering forests are things to look forward to in North America. Visa-on-arrival is offered to Indians in Jamaica, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, El Salvador, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and St Lucia.

SOUTH AMERICA

Head to South America and you’d be greeted with colonial towns and white sandy beaches. Only Bolivia and Guyana offer a visa on arrival for Indians.

OCEANIA COUNTRIES

Oceania is the region centered on the islands of the tropical Pacific Ocean. Currently four island nations offer Indians a visa on arrival. These are Fiji, Samoa, Nauru and Tuvalu.
